Jewelry Care Instructions
TAKE JEWELRY OFF BEFORE SHOWERING OR SWIMMING
Prolonged contact with hot or warm water and Chlorinated water can react with the metals and cause it to change color.
DON'T USE JEWELRY CLEANER
Cleaner made for silver, gold, or platinum is too harsh for fashion jewelry which is usually plated with different types of precious metals.
DON'T PUT ON LOTION OR PERFUME WITH YOUR JEWELRY ON
Lotions and perfumes that are not 100% natural can react unfavorably with your jewelry. Make sure your jewelry is the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.
STORING YOUR JEWELRY
When storing your fashion jewelry try wrapping each piece in anti-tarnish paper. If you don't have anti-tarnish paper use an eyeglass cloth instead! The air around us is what makes metal tarnish. Store your jewelry in a jewelry box, air-tight container, Ziploc or sandwich bag with the air squeezed out to prevent oxidation.
CARE TIP: CLEAN YOUR FASHION JEWELRY
Fashion jewelry is fun, unique, and a great way to spruce up your outfit and express yourself. Wearing it every day will eventually make it lose its luster. Cleaning your special jewelry with vinegar or lemon juice will help keep your pieces tarnish free and clean. For clay pieces keep in a cool dark space and clean lightly with soap and water. No harsh chemicals ever as they can damage all types of jewelry
DON’T REST YOUR STERLING SILVER JEWELRY ON WOOD SURFACES
Wood surfaces can sometimes contain acids that can mar the surface of sterling. Once again, it is best to keep your piece in an air-tight container. It is also recommended to store silver away from direct sunlight.
